Timberwolf - the map!
Here's a map I had made when writing Timberwolf. It's rough and some of the locations changed as I was writing, but it's still how I envisaged the continent of Geskander. I referred to it often. Maps in fantasy fiction provoke strong feelings on either side, but I'm pretty much in the pro-map camp. I suppose it depends on the story, and in mine Axel travels a fair bit. The map never made the cut - my choice was to spend money on pretty mapping or editing. And that's a no-brainer. Maybe next time, but until then I hope this one helps if you've read the book.
